Wow, a year has passed (almost)Much has happened but no updates here. Detained is popping up everywhere - YouTube, Google Video and a whole bunch of other places. What's even better is that internet reaction (which can be pretty cutthroat) has been fantastic.

Yes indeed. To try to cope with the level of interest since learning of our 300+ missing mails and as a way of saying sorry to those who had to wait a year for a reply, Detained will be online for free download from April 24th. I hope you all watch and enjoy it!

WE HAVEN'T BEEN GETTING YOUR MAILS!

Heh, funny story really. An old friend mailed me today by mailing two of my email addresses. One was the info@detainedthemovie.com but, for some reason, that mail didn't show up. Now I had been getting mails to jay@detainedthemovie.com with no problem but something was wrong here.

Well, I looked into it and, yep, there was a problem with the info address that has now been sorted. So, as for how long it hasn't been working - well, I just got a very lovely mail from someone kind enough to offer me some replica watches from all the way back in December '04. Well over a year ago. I just got 354 mails.

So, if you've mailed us in the last year or more and we never replied - that's why. A huge apology to everyone, including the replica watch people and the cialis people (whatever that is). I just hope we haven't missed any opportunities. I'll be getting through the mails in the next few days.

Not really an update - I just wanted to say that the composer of Detained's excellent music soundtrack has posted the tracks on his website. You can find them at www.duncanmaitland.com. Thanks to Duncan for getting them on his site (and sorry it took so long for me to post a message about it!).

Detained will also be featuring on the Irish television show 'Blizzard of Odd' on RTE2 next Monday night so check that out!

Detained is 'Highly Commended' by the 15th International Festival of Fantastic Films - Manchester, England, 2004!

Detained has also been selected for exhibition at the Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival which is on October 15-17, 2004. All good news!
